We are making some changes at PAAWS RI this year to help even more at-risk animals.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our founder, Dr. Annette Rauch, we have become a vet care staple in the Rhode Island animal shelter community.

With that in mind, we want to put more of our resources into what we do best and that has always been providing high-quality veterinary care for animals in need.

We will be offering new vet care programs for low-income pet owners that have no one else to turn to, as well as homeless animals in shelters and feral cat colonies.

We will also be holding more fundraisers for adoptable cats and families that need a little extra help affording proper vet care for the furriest members of their households.

This also means that we will be housing fewer adoptable cats in our facility as we make the shift to primarily offering veterinary services.

After careful consideration, we have decided that working with our network of adoption partners is the best way to help more cats find their new families.

We will no longer be having Saturday open house events at the shelter as of March 1st, 2020. All of our adoption visits will now be done by appointment only.

You can contact our office by phone or click here and submit this form.

We are also very happy to announce the monthly SPAY & NEUTER-A-THON that will be part of our Spay & Neuter Clinic event.

Dr. Rauch has made herself available for an entire day of reduced cost spay & neuter procedures to help low-income pet owners and curb the feral cat population in our community.

There are lots of big changes coming to PAAWS RI this year and we hope that we can count on your continued support.

Dr. Rauch and our team are more committed than ever to providing critical vet services to the most vulnerable animal population in our area, but we can’t do it without you.

Sharing our posts on social media and making donations of any amount has a huge impact on the lives of these wonderful cats.

Thank you,
The PAAWS RI team
